Prix D'Amour
An original musical written by Paul Dion, staged by Spectrum in 2010 and directed by Elaine Waddell, featuring Jen Hughes, Geoff Carswell, and Tom Oriti.
The show takes its story and its title from Rose, Robert Wainwright's unauthorised biography of Rose Hancock Porteous — the Filipina housekeeper turned wife of Australian mining magnate Lang Hancock — and specifically from the final years the couple spent together at Prix D'Amour, their opulent Perth mansion.
